Carrie is a wife and stay-at-home mom of 4 children under the age of 10. She is a photographer and non-fiction writer capturing everyday moments that leave viewers feeling connected in an often isolated, shame-filled world. Creating amidst the chaos of raising four tiny humans helps her process emotion and stay present. Her art is an important part of her everyday life.

She graduated with a B.F.A from University of Rhode Island in 2009 with a focus in photography and filmmaking. Her writing has been published by the websites Perfection Pending and Kindred Mom.

Carrie’s hope is that her work begins that conversation we are all too afraid to have, while raising awareness to the stigmas of mental health and motherhood.
